*Review* Biore Ice Cleanser


I got a sample sized packet of the Biore Ice Cleanser as well as the Pore Unclogging Scrub awhile ago in the mail when they had a promotion to sign up for a free sample, I believe it was when they first came out with these. I hadn't tried it till a few days ago because I am always nervous to try new products in case they break me out badly or something. I know I should probably do a test area first but I usually just use it and see what happens. I can honestly say that I really like the Ice Cleanser, it makes my skin really soft without leaving it greasy. You can feel the "ice" of the product too it tingles a little not uncomfortable burning tingle like some products do, but you can feel the coolness of it with the gentle tingle that makes it feel like its working. It also keeps my face smooth and clean feeling for most of the day which is nice since I have really oily skin that normally is oily almost immediately after I finish washing my face. It is a little pricey when you compare the biore products to other similiar products but it will probably last awhile so it is worth it in the long run.

Pros
  • got to try the product in sample form before commiting to spending the money on it in store
  • has a gentle coolness and tingle nothing painful or harsh
  • left my skin feeling really soft and smooth for hours after washing
  • didn't cause me to break out
  • actually helped improve my skin texture and minimized breakouts
Cons
  • kind of pricey compared to other cleansers on the market (but worth it for me)
  • might leave some people's skin dried out depending on how oily/normal/dry it usually is
Overall I would give this product a 9/10.

I bought this stuff from The Body Shop when they had an emailed printable coupon for $10 off any purchase of $10 or more in August. It's a bit on the pricey side $13 for a 100ml tube but I got it for $3 and tax so a really good deal at the time. I can honestly say that I love this stuff and plan on buying more when I run out because it works really well for my skin. It is a little on the pricey side compared to what I usually buy but I think its worth it since the directions say to use it max. twice a week. I got it in August and have used it twice a week since and still have 3/4 of the bottle left! I don't use it on my whole face though just the areas that need it that way I get more use out of it. Derma E Collagen Serum Review

I received this product free to test from Social Nature. If you are someone like me that has made the switch to mostly natural products then you definitely need to head over to Social Nature and sign up! It's the only site that I know about that gives you the opportunity to try natural products and post reviews.  Now, back to the product in question. This serum so far has been great on my skin. It smells pleasant and goes on smooth with no greasy after feel. It soaks into my skin well and doesn't pill when I apply moisturizer over top. It comes in a large enough format that I feel like it should last me at least six months of regular day and night use. I use one to two pumps in my hand and then rub together and apply to my face and neck. A little product goes a long way. In terms of noticing a difference in my skin I haven't really noticed much of a difference but I don't feel like I've used it consistently enough yet to accurately tell if it's working better
