Sephora Birthday Gift for 2012


I got to pick up my Sephora gift last week and I have to say I really like what I see even though I haven't tried it yet. They are both scented, though I can't quite put my finger on the exact scent of them but man do they smell good! Kind of like tropical skittles maybe? Just the smell alone is enough for me to say they are fantastic! There are two mini tubes in the box, one is tinted 'Rose' (perfect for me!) and the other is just a sheer treatment. The tubes are very cool because instead of just snapping on like a lipstick they twist a bit. Great to throw in your bag and not have to worry about a lid coming off and they are the perfect trial size for small purses which I am more into carrying now and can't have a full makeup bag. To purchase these full size I believe they are either $22 or $23 at Sephora. I am very happy that they have provided mini versions as the free birthday gift so I can try them out (free of course) before spending so much on the full size product.

I bought this stuff from The Body Shop when they had an emailed printable coupon for $10 off any purchase of $10 or more in August. It's a bit on the pricey side $13 for a 100ml tube but I got it for $3 and tax so a really good deal at the time. I can honestly say that I love this stuff and plan on buying more when I run out because it works really well for my skin. It is a little on the pricey side compared to what I usually buy but I think its worth it since the directions say to use it max. twice a week. Derma E Collagen Serum Review

I received this product free to test from Social Nature. If you are someone like me that has made the switch to mostly natural products then you definitely need to head over to Social Nature and sign up! It's the only site that I know about that gives you the opportunity to try natural products and post reviews.  Now, back to the product in question. This serum so far has been great on my skin. It smells pleasant and goes on smooth with no greasy after feel. It soaks into my skin well and doesn't pill when I apply moisturizer over top. It comes in a large enough format that I feel like it should last me at least six months of regular day and night use. I use one to two pumps in my hand and then rub together and apply to my face and neck. A little product goes a long way. In terms of noticing a difference in my skin I haven't really noticed much of a difference but I don't feel like I've used it consistently enough yet to accurately tell if it's working better
