Julep Maven

I got something very exciting in the mail today from Julep! I purchased the $5 introductory box to test out this program. It's the same as the other monthly beauty boxes that are out there only this one is nail polish!!
What you do is fill out a beauty quiz and based on the answers they will give you a list of polishes that are tailored to your quiz results. I got "It Girl" which is very much me completely. I love the unique colours and wear anything from dark vampy colours to bright neon colours.
Anyway on to the intro box!
Everything is very nicely packaged which makes it a great gift idea for the nail polish lovers in your life. It also makes it a bit extra special to unwrap yourself because it's like getting a birthday gift every month even though you know what will be in it. It's still a lot of fun!

The polishes come all snugly wrapped in tissue paper.

From L to R Christina, Trina, Kim, and Nail Therapy, and a few hand cream samples which I am passing on to my mom because I never have a use for hand creams and she does.

I bought this stuff from The Body Shop when they had an emailed printable coupon for $10 off any purchase of $10 or more in August. It's a bit on the pricey side $13 for a 100ml tube but I got it for $3 and tax so a really good deal at the time. Derma E Collagen Serum Review

I received this product free to test from Social Nature. If you are someone like me that has made the switch to mostly natural products then you definitely need to head over to Social Nature and sign up! It's the only site that I know about that gives you the opportunity to try natural products and post reviews.  Now, back to the product in question. This serum so far has been great on my skin. It smells pleasant and goes on smooth with no greasy after feel. It soaks into my skin well and doesn't pill when I apply moisturizer over top. It comes in a large enough format that I feel like it should last me at least six months of regular day and night use. I use one to two pumps in my hand and then rub together and apply to my face and neck. A little product goes a long way. In terms of noticing a difference in my skin I haven't really noticed much of a difference but I don't feel like I've used it consistently enough yet to accurately tell if it's working better
