I bought this product awhile ago but didn't use it till last week. I got it home and it was darker then my skin tone it looked more orange and fake looking so decided to keep it for stage makeup. There were no testers in the store but it was the lightest of the three choices and it looked light enough for my skin in the store so I bought it because it was inexpensive (about 2.99 for a 35ml tube on sale from 4.99). It is oil free as well as fragrance free which is another bonus since I have really sensitive acne prone skin. I used it for the first time last week as my foundation for a show I was in. I did wake up with a few pimples that weren't there before in places that I normally don't get acne, but didn't link it to the makeup as I usually get acne fairly often. I found this guide years ago and now I can't remember where it was that I got it from but it has helped me figure out my face shape and what cuts will look best. The Scientific way to figure out your face shape: A. Measure your face across the top of your cheekbones. Write down the measurement on a piece of paper. B. Measure across your jaw line from the widest point to the widest point. Write down the measurement. C. Measure across your forehead at the widest point. Generally the widest point will be somewhere about halfway between your eyebrows and your hairline. Write down the measurement. D. Measure from the tip of your hairline to the bottom of your chin. OVAL faces will have length equal to one and a half times width. ROUND faces will be as wide as they are long. This may vary a little but generally the measurement is close. Now I don't have this problem at all because I have naturally oily skin that is like that all year around! But I do battle with dry itchy scalp in the winter. Adjust your bathing habits. Take shorter baths or showers and use warm water not hot. Also if possible skip a day showering or bathing (depending on skin type.) I bought this stuff from The Body Shop when they had an emailed printable coupon for $10 off any purchase of $10 or more in August. It's a bit on the pricey side $13 for a 100ml tube but I got it for $3 and tax so a really good deal at the time. I can honestly say that I love this stuff and plan on buying more when I run out because it works really well for my skin. It is a little on the pricey side compared to what I usually buy but I think its worth it since the directions say to use it max. twice a week. I got it in August and have used it twice a week since and still have 3/4 of the bottle left! I don't use it on my whole face though just the areas that need it that way I get more use out of it. I also use an inexpensive tea tree oil face wash from St. Ives (around $3.77 a bottle). Throw out your old makeup!!!!! Some makeup needs to be thrown out after a certain amount of time. Some ingredients expire and can cause serious skin reactions such as rashes, infections and acne. Most manufacturer's don't put an expiration date on the package because they assume we will use the product up before it expires. Also if you don't replace certain products regularly they will breed bacteria also causing serious skin reactions. Here is an approx. time line for keeping open used makeup. Mascara : 3 months Powder Eye Shadow : 9-18 months Cream Eye Shadow : 6-12 months Foundation : 6-8 months Cheek and Lipstick Color : 6-8 months Sometimes powder expires after around 8 months to a year depending and your skin may start reacting to it after 8 months. If the products are unopened or unused they should keep for much longer as long as you don't open them or break the seals on the containers that way air stays out.

ingredients: about 10 aspirin (depends how much paste you want to make) water cup put the aspirin in a cup and add a little bit of water (a couple drops) when they start to dissolve crush them into a paste put the paste over the areas of your face that have acne (i would just dab it on each individual pimple if you dont have that many) wait about 10min for it to dry rinse it off if you have a lot of acne do it daily till it clears up then use it maybe once a week or so to keep it from drying out your skin (also the reason I suggested to put it only on your pimples rather then full face)

I have been using this stuff for a couple years now, but have since replaced it with a liquid concealer stick since I find it looks more natural when you cover. That doesn't mean its not a good product to use it just depends what you need to cover and what type of coverage you are looking for. Ok so I know this has nothing at all to do with the rest of the blogs content but it will make women everywhere happy. It's chocolate cake you make in the microwave and the best part...it takes 5min!!!!! 5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE 4 tablespoons flour 4 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 egg 3 tablespoons milk 3 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) a small splash of vanilla extract 1 large coffee mug Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
